The big prize this year is a free trip for the winning RTA class to go to Magic Mountain.<br> <br>Bring the following recyclable items to your RTA class to get points...the class with the most points will win.<br> <br>Cans and Bottles (Plastic or Glass)  — 2 points each<br> <br>Chip Bags, Juice pouches (Capri Sun, Kool Aid, etc.),<br>Candy Wrappers, Elmer’s Glue (bottle or stick), Cereal Bags, Cookie Packaging (including insides), Solo Drink Cups, Gum Wrappers—1 point each<br> <br>Candy Wrappers include: Milky Way, Snickers, Dove, M&Ms, 3 Musketeers, Skittles, Starburst, Twix, Cadbury (has to say MARS/WRIGLEY/CADBURY as the maker of the candy bar)<br> <br> <br> <br>The contest ends Thursday, October 27th<br>The RTA class with most points wins a free trip for each student to MAGIC MOUNTAIN!!!<br> <br>Second and Third place classes on October 27th each get a Root Beer Float Party!<br> ]]></description>

						<description><![CDATA[Students are given the opportunity to ride an RTA Eco-Friendly bus for 7 days and describe their experience in artwork. You can get a copy of the rules and an entry form required to participate in room E1 from Ms. Davis. 						<description><![CDATA[In your RTA class, collect recyclables:<br> <br>Bottles and Cans  — 2 points each<br>This can include plastic bottles, aluminum cans or glass, just please make sure the container is empty of fluid and waste.<br> <br>Chip Bags, M&M / Mars Candy Wrappers, Juice pouches (Capri Sun etc.)<br>—1 point each<br>Please make sure the chip bags, wrappers and juice pouches are empty and flattened, with the straw removed and no liquid in the pouch.  Any chip bags (any size, any brand) will be recycled, any juice pouches (Kool Aid, Capri Sun, etc.) and the brands of candy wrappers that can be recycled include any made by M&Ms/Mars or Cadbury…some examples include:  M&Ms, Snickers, 3 Musketeers, Dove, Mars, Milky Way, Munch, Skittles, Sour Patch, Swedish Fish, Starburst, Twix, and anything with the Mars/Wrigley or Cadbury logo on the label.<br> <br> <br> <br>The contest ends April 22nd,  Earth Day.<br>The top two RTA classes on  March 22nd win Root Beer Float Parties!!<br>The RTA class with the most points by April 22 wins a free trip for each student to HURRICANE HARBOR!!! <br>Second and Third place RTA classes on April 22nd each get a Root Beer Float Party!]]></description>

						<description><![CDATA[We will be having another canned food drive, this one benefiting the Salvation Army and needy families over Spring Break.  Former Badger Students will be helping as part of their community service hours. The competition will last for four weeks, with the last cans collected Thursday, March 24th.  The prizes will be given to the RTA classes with the most canned food items on Friday, March 25th, the day before Spring Break. <br>Same rules apply as the previous drive, non-perishable food and please no expired food.<br> <br>Prizes:    1st --- Class Pizza Party<br>              2nd – Root Beer Float Party<br>              3rd – a Treat<br> ]]></description>
